The main advantages of autologous blood transfusions - its immunological compatibility, the absence of the risk of infection with bloodborne infections, the possibility of saving donor blood resources - form the basis for the widespread use of autohemotransfusion methods (in particular, autoplasma donation and reinfusion of autologous blood with the Cell-Saver5 + Hemonetic apparatus) in obstetric practice.

Since 2001, day hospitals have been opened in the Clinical and Diagnostic Department of the Center for Psychological Prevention and Treatment and branches, where 43 gynecological and obstetric beds have been deployed. In accordance with the letters of the Department of Health of the City of Moscow, changes were made to the structure of the bed fund of the Center for Family Planning and Reproduction from May 19, 2016: 15 gynecological beds were allocated for the SPC - a short-stay hospital.

Short stay hospital - a new unit designed to perform gynecological operations and discharge the patient in one day. In the conditions of a day hospital, patients are given intravenous infusions, in the SKP - small gynecological operations, after which round-the-clock monitoring is not required.

With the help of high-tech equipment, biopsies of the cervix are performed using the RADIOSURG 2000 and PLASMAJET apparatus, hysteroscopy + RFE, office hysteroscopy with / without targeted biopsy of the endometrium, fertiloscopy, cervicoscopy; marsupialization, conization and excision of the cervix are carried out; bipolar coagulator VERSAPOINT is used for myoma- and polypresection, ablation and resection of the endometrium. In 2017, 2174 operations were performed.

The objectives of the activities for which the Center and its branches were established are: organizational and methodological work to provide family planning assistance, the provision of surgical, outpatient, consultative and treatment and diagnostic assistance on problems related to the protection of the reproductive health of the family, the provision of high-tech medical help.
