Boston Round dropper bottles, also known as tincture bottles, provide standout shelf appeal and functional precision ideal for the cosmetic, medical, and aromatherapy industries. The amber glass will help provide UV resistance for light sensitive products. Bottles includes black PP child-resistant capable dropper caps with ribbed collar and 2.95" glass pipette. Bulb capacity 1cc. Controlled dropper dispenses 0.8 ml per stroke. This product has been manufactured to be child-resistant capable.* Bottles are packed in reusable reshipper cartons with internal corrugated dividers that protect from damage during storage and shipping.

Dosage form

clear or slightly opalescent, colorless or light yellow to yellow or light brown liquid.

Composition

1 ml contains:

Active ingredient: methylethylpyridinol hydrochloride - 10.00 mg;

excipients: hydroxypropyl betadex - 20.00 mg, potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 10.80 mg, sodium benzoate (E211) - 2.00 mg, sodium hyaluronate - 1.80 mg, disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate - 0.

36 mg, disodium edetate - 0.20 mg, benzalkonium chloride (in terms of dry matter) - 0.05 mg, phosphoric acid solution 2 M to pH 4.0-5.0, water for injection up to 1 ml.

Reduces capillary permeability and strengthens the vascular wall (angioprotector). Reduces blood viscosity and platelet aggregation (antiplatelet agent). Inhibitor of free radical processes, has a membrane-stabilizing effect. It has retinoprotective properties, protects the retina and other eye tissues from the damaging effects of high-intensity light. Promotes resorption of intraocular hemorrhages, reduces blood clotting, improves microcirculation of the eye. Stimulates reparative processes in the cornea (including in the early postoperative and postoperative period).

Pharmacokinetics

Quickly penetrates into organs and tissues, where it is deposited and metabolized. In the tissues of the eye, the concentration is higher than in the blood. Found 5 metabolites represented by dealkylated and conjugated transformation products.

Metabolites are excreted by the kidneys. Significant amounts of 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-oxypyridine-phosphate are found in the liver.

Indications

- Treatment and prevention of inflammation and burns of the cornea;

- treatment and prevention of hemorrhages in the anterior chamber of the eye;

- treatment and prevention of hemorrhage into the sclera in the elderly;

- treatment and prevention of thrombosis of the central retinal vein and its branches;

- treatment and prevention of complications in myopia;

- treatment and prevention of diabetic retinopathy;

- protection of the cornea when wearing contact lenses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy and breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age.

Use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated

Method of application and dose The drug is instilled into the conjunctival sac, 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 3-30 days. If necessary and well tolerated, the course of treatment can be continued up to 6 months and can be repeated 2-3 times a year.

How to use the dropper tube:

1. Open the bag, separate one dropper tube, put the rest back into the bag.

2. Open the dropper tube (making sure that the solution is at the bottom of the dropper tube, rotate and separate the valve).

3. Tilt your head back, use the index finger of one hand to pull the lower eyelid down, holding the tube with the other hand vertically above the eye with the tip down.

4. Drop the required amount of the drug into the conjunctival sac of the eye.

5. Close the dropper tube with the valve. Once opened, the dropper tube can be used within 24 hours. After this period, the dropper tube should be discarded.

How to work with the dropper bottle:

To pierce the neck, turn the cap clockwise with some force until the lower edge of the cap stops against the body of the dropper bottle.

2. After piercing the neck, turn the cap counterclockwise and remove it.

3. Carefully, without touching the tip of the dropper bottle with your fingers, fix it between the thumb and forefinger of one hand.

4. Tilt your head back, place the tip of the dropper bottle over your eye and pull the lower eyelid down with the index finger of your other hand. Slightly press on the dropper bottle and drip the required amount of the drug into the conjunctival sac of the eye.

Avoid contact between the tip of an open dropper bottle and the surface of the eye and hands.

5. After use, put the cap on the dropper bottle and close with a clockwise rotation.

After opening the dropper bottle, the drug can be used within 30 days. After this period, the dropper bottle should be discarded.

Do not use if the dropper bottle or dropper tube is visibly damaged.

If there is no improvement after treatment, or the symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear, a doctor should be consulted. Use the drug only according to the indications, the method of application and in the doses indicated in the instructions.

Side effects

Burning sensation, itching, short-term hyperemia of the conjunctiva, local allergic reactions.

If any of the side effects listed in the instructions get worse, or if you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.

Overdose

Cases of drug overdose are not described.

Drug interactions

The drug should not be mixed with other drugs.

Special instructions

If it is necessary to use other eye drops simultaneously, the drug is instilled last, after complete absorption of the previous drug (not earlier than 15 minutes).

After opening the foil bag, the contents must be used within 30 days. After the expiration of 30 days, the dropper bottle or dropper tube should be discarded, even if the drug is not completely used or there are unopened dropper tubes.

No data on the impact on driving and engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
