Mick Jagger has some strong genes!
On Monday, Jagger’s girlfriend, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, shared a black-and-white photo of their 4-year-old son, Deveraux, and commenters can’t get over how much he resembles his father.
“Little Mick,” one person wrote.
Added another, “Looks just like his dad!”

When the Rolling Stones frontman, 78, was Deveraux’s age, he too had a head of blond hair. Deveraux also appears to have inherited Jagger’s full, pouty lips.
Deveraux is the youngest of Jagger’s eight children, the oldest of whom is 50. Before Deveraux came along, newly-married Gabriel Jagger, 23, was the baby of the blended family.
Jagger has five grandkids and became a great-grandfather in 2014.

“Mick and I are fantastic co-parents and I don’t feel as though I’m the sole caregiver at all,” the dancer told You Magazine at the time.
“I never feel a lack of support, regardless of our not being in the same city,” she continued. “I feel as though I have more support from him than some of my married friends get from their husbands. With WhatsApp, FaceTime and social media, you can now have a close relationship even long distance. I think the norms of relationships have changed. Or maybe, I’m just really modern and independent.”

Hamrick, who has been partnered with Jagger since 2014, praised the rocker for raising “balanced” and “kind” children.
“It’s nice to have a big family for Dev,” she said.
Hamrick added that she has no plans to give her little boy another sibling.
"‘I love Dev more than anything, but I want to give my attention only to him," she explained. "He’s perfect and beautiful, but I don’t think I’d do it again."

Biography of Mick Jagger
Mick Jagger is a man of the era, the permanent frontman of the legendary rock band The Rolling Stones, songwriter, film actor and producer. The creator of his own musical style, called revolutionary in the 60s. In 2003 he was knighted. Winner of numerous music and film awards, including Grammy and Golden Globe.Pictured: Mick Jagger

Michael Philip Jagger was born in the summer of 1943 to physical education teacher Basil Fanshaw (Joe) and conservative activist Eva Ansley Jagger, in Dartford, Kent. Four years later, he had a younger brother, Chris. One of Little Mike's earliest memories: Mom removing the blackout curtains from the windows because World War II is over and there's no need to be afraid of air raids anymore.
Mick Jagger as a child
At Dartford Maypole Children's Primary School, Mike Jagger was considered one of the best students, studying was easy for him. In addition, it turned out that his father’s athletic genes were strong in him: he soon became a local celebrity in futsal and cricket competitions, as well as running in bags.Mick Jagger and his younger brother Chris
Subsequently, Ken Lewellin, one of the teachers, recalled that Jagger was the smartest and most energetic boy in the class. Mike perfectly knew how to parody teachers, which invariably delighted his classmates. When he was eight years old, his parents transferred their son to another school in Wentworth. There he became friends with a funny, lop-eared boy, Keith Richards. Keith once said that when he grows up, he will definitely play the guitar and become the same as Roy Rogers, a country singer who considered himself "the king of the cowboys." Rogers was of little interest to Mike, but it was difficult for him to imagine Richards with a guitar.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have known each other since childhood
He himself, like his younger brother, sang in the church choir, there were no musical instruments in the house, but the music sounded constantly from a bulky radio. Jagger loved to sing along and impersonate American performers of the time. He remembered Keith's words about the guitar, it was they who became the first impetus for thoughts about how to become famous. Soon the paths of friends diverged for several years.Mick Jagger at school
At 19In 1954, the Jaggers moved to the Newlens mansion, located near Dartford in the village of Wilmington. The father began to organize sports training for his sons: they climbed the ropes hung on the trees in the large garden, played cricket and carried the barbells. The parents bought a small TV on which the children watched television series and puppet shows. The family spent summer holidays away from England, on the Spanish or French coast. However, Joe, and especially Eva, has always been strict with children, especially with the eldest son. Each had his own duties at home and carefully fulfilled them.Mick Jagger with parents and younger brother
In the same 1954, eleven-year-old Mike, as the best of the elementary school students, was assigned to the academic high school on West Hill in Dartford. She was compared with Harrow and Eton, where many parents sent their children for money. Jagger got into it only thanks to his own mind and abilities. The educational institution had its own coat of arms and the motto "Prayer and work", mentors in black robes strictly monitored the implementation of all traditions by students.Mike quickly became uninterested in cramming chemical and physical formulas and, although he loved history, English and French, he quickly turned from the best students to the average student. The same was true of sports activities, since Jagger did not like high-society rugby at all, where during captures one could be nosed in a puddle. It was not at all the kind of sport for which the boy would like to try. He soon took up basketball and breathed a sigh of relief.
Here the guy was seriously interested in rhythm and blues: he bought records, caught his favorite songs on the radio and tried to copy his idols. Resting once again in Spain, his parents bought him an acoustic guitar, but he never learned to play it.
First steps to fame
After graduation, the guy entered the London School of Economics and Politics. One day, returning home for the holidays, Mike accidentally saw the same Keith at the station, who as a child promised him to become like Roy Rogers. In Jagger's hands were two precious rhythm and blues records at the time: "Rockin' at the Hops" by Chuck Berry and a greatest hits collection by Muddy Waters.Young Mick Jagger and Keith Richards
Later, both noted that if not for that fateful meeting on October 17, 1961, the Rolling Stones would hardly have been born. While Richard was looking at the records, Mick started talking about music, and Keith invited him over to listen to the records. During the conversation, Keith invited his newfound friend to join his band Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, where Richard Taylor and a couple of other guys played besides him. The band performed cover versions of hits by Eddie Cochrane, Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry.Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys
Taylor was the first to get tired of doing amateur performances, and he left. Soon Jagger and Richards joined the Blues Incorporated, Michael took his stage name and became Mick.In the meantime, they found a sister band in slide guitarist Brian Jones and advertised looking for like-minded people for a new band. Pianist Ayan Stewart responded. The four of them began to rehearse, and the team was called "The Rolling Stones" - in honor of one of the compositions from the Muddy Waters record, which Mick was holding that day. The first performance took place at the London Marks Club on 12 July 1962 years old.
First performance of The Rolling Stones
Jagger would later say of himself:I am a person of the stage, no matter what I do - play the guitar, piano, portray something, sing, dance. It's just that my career in show business has become rock and roll. If I had been born, say, in 1915, I would have been a jazz drummer or a jazz singer or an actor.
The Rolling Stones
Music producer Andrew Loog Oldham came up with the idea to pit the Rolling Stones against the already wildly popular Liverpool quartet The Beatles. Mick, like his colleagues, was asked to let go of his hair, put on a sullen look, be more relaxed and emphasize sex appeal as much as possible.Brian Jones, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger
With the image of the "dirty boy" Jagger coped brilliantly. Brutal and energetic, with an unusual attractive appearance and cheeky behavior on stage, he soon became the dream of thousands of fans who literally went berserk at his appearance.Young Mick Jagger
The group went on tour in Europe, and in 1964 became the leader of the New Musical Express with the composition Little Red Rooster. Jagger, on the advice of Oldham, begins to write his own songs, one of which was The Last Time. The performance of the hit Satisfaction has already delighted the American public. The Rolling Stones – Little Red Rooster
The life style of the Rollers is sex, drugs, rock and roll, but it was he who led Brian Jones to death in the pool of his own house. At his funeral, Mick recited Shelley's poetry and released several thousand butterflies into the sky. It was his symbolic farewell not only to his friend, but also to the sixties that brought him extraordinary popularity.Mick Jagger interview (1972)
The Rolling Stones are at their peak in the early seventies. Jagger comes up with a new style that mixes almost all genres popular at that time: blues, soul, gospel, country.Mick Jagger in the 70s
In 1970, the crime drama "Performance" was released, in which Mick plays the main role: the eccentric and very outrageous musician Turner. In parallel, he starred in the biographical film "Ned Kelly" about a daring Australian criminal, embodying the image of the main character on the screen. At concerts, he sings Sister Morphine and Wild Horses with his fans. The band's signature emblem was a cheeky protruding tongue between scarlet lips.Rolling Stones – Wild Horses
In the early 1980s, Mick and Keith argued over the future development of the Rolling Stones. After the release of two albums, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You, the Rolling Stones went into the shadows, Mick took up a solo career and released the first disc, She's The Boss. The composition Just Another Night becomes a hit and enters the top 10 of the British charts. With David Bowie
During his solo career, Jagger recorded five more albums, some of them in collaboration with many popular artists: Tina Turner, Herbie Hancock, David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz.Mick Jagger ft Lenny Kravitz – God Gave Me Everything
In parallel with musical creativity, Mick also acted in films. Among his roles is the artist Axel Rex in the German-French drama Laughter in the Dark (1986). On the set, the actor worked with Maximillian Schell and Marina Vlady. Another significant role for Mick was the head of the security service Vasendek in Jeff Murphy's fantasy action movie Immortality Corporation. Here he worked with Hollywood legend Anthony Hopkins.A still from the film Immortality Corporation
And although not all the pictures with the participation of the outrageous artist were approved by critics, Jagger was awarded the Golden Globe for the best song for the film Handsome Alfie, or What Men Want.Alfie Handsome Movie Soundtrack
From time to time, Jagger and the Rolling Stones, as before, got together, released new albums, received well-deserved Grammys. There were two albums in the new millennium: A Bigger Band (2005) and Blue and Lonesome (2016). But Mick no longer needed the former close cooperation. In 2010, the musician created a new band Superheavy, with whom he recorded several compositions in Los Angeles and presented a new album.Mick Jagger in his youth and now
In 2019, Jagger, despite health problems, reappears on wide screens as lawyer and collector Joseph Cassidy in Giuseppe Capotondi's drama thriller The Art of Robbery. For the brilliant embodiment of the image, the artist was awarded the Mimmo Rotella Foundation Prize at the Venice Film Festival.Mick Jagger in The Art of the Heist
Personal life of Mick Jagger
Numerous novels by Jagger with fans and stage colleagues are still under the scrutiny of the media. His love affairs can be published as a separate book, and the musician himself said without hesitation that at least four thousand fans in love with him had been in his bed in his entire life.At one time, Keith somewhat enviously recommended to a friend to undergo sterilization, since today Jagger has eight children from five different lovers. He himself stopped his attention on women for a short time. When Mick turned 19, he had his first permanent girlfriend - Chrissy Shrimpton. But he broke up with her pretty quickly, because Chris turned out to be a very boring person who tried to create a family nest.

More serious was the relationship with the aristocratic Marianne Faithfull, which lasted from 1966. Even when Mick lived with actress and singer Marsha Hunt, he continued to meet with Marianne, feeling responsible for her: it was he who addicted her to drugs. But the woman could not cope and for many years sat on hard drugs, getting rid of addiction only after forty.Marianne Faithfull and Mick Jagger
Marsha also gave birth to Mika's daughter Caris, on which their relationship ended. At 1971 Jagger married Bianca Perez, a lawyer and human rights activist. He lived with her for a long time, although he did not differ in fidelity. The family had a daughter, Jade Sheen, who later made Jagger a grandfather three times.Mick Jagger and Bianca Perez wedding
The American model Jerry Hall lasted longer than the rest of the lovers next to Mick - the couple lived together for 22 years. During this time, the woman gave birth to four children to the musician: two daughters and two sons. Hall tolerated her husband's betrayals, pretended not to notice next to him either model Carla Bruni, or Princess Margaret, or fleeting admirers. With Jerry Hall
But the last straw for the woman was the news that the Brazilian Luciana Jimenez Morad had a son from Jagger. Jerry filed for divorce, but ... it turned out that all the years she lived with Mick in an unofficial marriage, because he canceled it behind her back. The reason was that they married according to the Hindu rite on the island of Bali, and in the States such a marriage has no legal force.Mick Jagger with children
The musician left a huge mansion in London to his ex-wife and children, but breathed a sigh of relief that she would not claim more. And he calmly went to a meeting with stylist and fashion model L'Ren Scott.Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott
