If you know how to make an angel costume for a little girl or an older girl with your own hands, then you can not spend money on a ready-made carnival outfit.

First you need to choose what style the dress for the angel will be. You can sew a short fitted or tunic. But we will consider the simplest option, when you need to sew a spacious straight dress to the floor. Ease of making with your own hands and affordability are the advantages of this method.

It is better to choose white, pink or blue fabric for the outfit, since these are the colors associated with the image of an angel. The dress is made of satin or silk, but such material is quite capricious in work. A beginner should work with coarse calico or chintz. The pattern of the dress is very simple, even those who have started sewing for the first time can easily cope with it. The dress has a loose fit.

Measure the child, make a pattern and transfer it to thick paper or cardboard.
Fold the fabric in half, right side inward, place the pattern on top. Circle it with chalk, making allowances for the seams.
Cut out the fabric, sew the dress along the side seams from the inside.
Turn garment right side out. Treat the neck, cuffs and hem so that the fabric does not crumble.

Silver or white tinsel can be sewn on the edges of the sleeves and along the hem. If there is no time for sewing, you can use a white T-shirt and a fluffy skirt of the same color as the basis. Optionally, you can sew on additional decor: ribbons, bows or ties. It would be best to wear simple strappy sandals on your feet, decorated with white feathers or white tinsel or the color of the tunic. If the matinee takes place in a cool room, sandals are replaced with white boots or boots or covered with white fabric.
