In the end all we ever really need is God. He’s the only lasting fill for our empty places. :) As always, thanks for your input.

I was just heard a message the used Jennifer Aniston as and example, and it was talking about how she has it all in the world’s sense but she is still searching for something but nothing is filling that. It is funny how we think that money or things can make us happy but, in the end all we need is God. He will fill us with happiness. We just have to be will to be patient with him and wait for his will for our lives!!!
Thanks so much girls! Looking forward to the next one.:)

Maybe this is something we can address further in a future series. Expectations can overwhelm so easily (no matter what season we’re in). Keeping our eyes on Christ definitely helps to keep perspective. Now to just keep our eyes fixed there…

Thank you for sharing!

This is such a struggle for me and so many… Turning to scripture and praying the psalms is such an awesome life changing thing to do, and it is so simple. I think we put such high expectations on ourselves and sometimes even our friends, husbands and family members put those expectations on us, that it bogs us down and makes us think that we really should be perfect… Better…. Something other than who we really are. and in our disappointments, let downs, embarrassing moments that expose are imperfections we become angry, not just unhappy but embarrassed , and angry. When if we would have just kept our eyes on Jesus and not ourselves and our reputations we would have no need to react so poorly in the circumstances of the day. Way easier said than done. I struggle with having a bad temper, and when I get angry ( or after the fact) I ask myself why, what happened and 9 times out of 10 my pride has been hurt in one way or another, I am truly my worst enemy. But allowing Christ to be center and give everything over to him, embracing his grace is such a blessing and freeing, Christ says my yoke is easy and my burden is light… I will never leave you or forsake you, nothing can separate you from My love.
