It’s amazing how little confidence we have in our own abilities, then God says… let me show you how much strength I can give you and how much you can do for my kingdom through me. Praying for your family, Beth. Thank you for sharing that.

We do feel like freaks on a regular basis. Thanks for normalizing us. We are laughing at ourselves! We just took our son’s newborn brother. The most beautiful thing was 2 of our adult children stepping forward and saying if you cannot take him, we will. The funniest moments were; them saying dad will be 80 before he graduates, even your crappiest days are still good parenting mom, you can do it. We value honesty in out family, nothing like having your kids tell you you regularly have crappy parenting days. Whatever that is. Saddest was someone at a kids gym class saying,”if you adopt you will end up divorced, it is too stressful on families.” Wow! With out God’s help we could not do this, it is too hard. I remind myself I’m changing Jesus diaper’ “do to the littlest, you are doing it to me.” Amy hang in there. We all have moments of crisis, every day. Going out in public is the toughest, but I keep doing it anyways. Yep, that is eleven, no I don’t think I could handle a twelfth, but what do I know?!!

May you be lifted and encouraged today. This was not intended to showcase any one person doing all of these things (eek!), so I bet you can find yourself somewhere in these words. You are among the faithful, keep at it!

I am a mom and foster mom, and everyday I see how I fail. In angry, frustrated, overwhelmed, alone. My friends family coworkers job and spare time have all been stripped from me and it HURTS! All relationships have been challenge yes including my marriage! I wish I could learn to love but I still loose my temper. I wish I could encourage and guid so much more than I do. I want all my children to learn to love know and serve Jesus…. But I struggle with my children’s PTSD I struggle with their manipulation services skills. I get frustrated at their RAD kid tendency. Wow this life is hard and I want to question why did this happen to me. But I remind myself there is a lesson here I have not learned, a heart that has not been healed, a new day to start over and try and please my savior. This is a challenging life…. But yes I will look back and say IT WAS WORTH EVERY LESSEN AND TEAR.
